Component 1 - Village Infrastructure and Basic Amenities

This component will support essential rural infrastructure and public amenities that improve daily mobility, safety, access to services and community life. The component may include internal access pathways, minor village roads subject to approval, drainage improvements, street lighting, school and community facility repairs, public utility spaces, learning centres, community halls, bus shelter support and basic amenities connected to water storage, public safety and village convenience.

All infrastructure works shall be taken up only after land ownership or usage rights are verified. Where the asset is located on public land, the Trust shall obtain local body or department approval/NOC before expenditure. Technical estimates, drawings, measurement books, work completion certificates, photographs and asset registers shall be maintained for each work package.

The component is not intended to replace statutory obligations of government departments. It is designed as a charitable and partner-supported rural infrastructure support programme where the Trust can provide additional facilities, repair support, community assets or co-funded improvements in legally permissible ways.
