Kumizhi Trust proposes a five-year, INR 500 Crore Integrated Rural Development and Community Empowerment Programme designed to address village-level poverty, basic amenity gaps, sanitation deficits, weak health access, educational disadvantage, livelihood insecurity, women's economic vulnerability and vulnerable welfare across Tamil Nadu and approved rural clusters.

Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)

Journey of Sevai Semmal Kumizhi Saravanan
Sevai Semmal Kumizhi Saravanan has started his journey at the age of 17 years as an NSS Leader. His Unique Service Points are Plantation, Hygiene & Alcohol Free Zone. He holds 1 bachelor degree and 3 master's degrees, and has organized eye donation, blood donation (donated blood 30 times), and medical check-up camps.
Contesting for the president ship of his own village Kumizhi, he brought public transport, roads, water facilities, and healthcare through continuous efforts. He has built 115 Houses creating "JJ Nagar", donated 5 cents of his own land to the government school for a basketball ground, and contributed facilities worth ₹1 Lakh.
